If all Fire Departments were volunteer only, maybe cooler heads would prevail!
I saw the story on Drudge and he linked to this piece at the UK's Guardian. It seems that firefighters are pissed off about their retirements benefits being changed by the Government. So, some tools of the State will turn against other tools of the State when THEIR ox is being gored.
